Our Story
The history of Handyman Gio is steeped in tradition.
It dates back to 1962 when Gio’s grandfather started building custom homes in South Jersey. Over the next 3 decades Gio’s grandfather became known for fine craftsmanship, detail and renovations on historic homes.
His grandfathers son took over the business in the 1990’s and brought his expertise in preserving, updating and renovating family homes to LBI.
As a teenager, Gio was fortunate to learn the craft of custom remodeling, working on home repairs and renovation projects big and small at the feet of the masters.
Gio earned a Civil Engineering Degree at the University of Delaware and upon graduation managed multimillion dollar renovations in hospitals and schools in New York.
Knowing where his heart was, he returned to his island home and started Handyman Gio LLC bringing his education and real life experience to build a company where he proudly continues the family tradition of solving architectural nightmares, fixing the un-fixable and making your vision of a beautifully functional family home a reality.
